Nairobi
Before beginning your safari, we recommend that you take some time to explore the Kenyan capital.

We offer half-day or day tours and meals at different eateries in the city, like the famous ‘Carnivore’ restaurant or the well-known ‘Alan Bobbe’s Bistro’ before dropping you back at your hotel.

As detailed below we offer two excursions in Nairobi which
each last a day.

Central Nairobi
A visit to the centre of the modern city which takes in the Parliament, the extremely colourful covered market, the Indian-style Jamia Mosque, which was built in 1925 and is one of the most beautiful places of worship in Nairobi, the Stanley Hotel which dates back to the beginning of the colonial era, and the Kenya National Museum, founded in 1928, which has displays of the natural riches and civilisations of Kenya. Opposite the national museum is Snake Park, whose vivariums contain most of the snakes, lizards, tortoises and crocodiles found in Kenya.

South West Nairobi
A visit to the Karen Blixen farm, where the Danish baroness whose writings and novels inspired the film ‘Out of Africa’ lived from 1914 to 1934, to the Langata Giraffe Centre, founded on 7 hectares of forest in 1974 by a Scottish duke to protect the Rothschild giraffe, and to Nairobi National Park established in 1945 on 116 km² of land where you can see Kenya’s animals: gazelles, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas…

The park, to which the towers of the city provide a backdrop, is home to astonishing wildlife. It is also famous for its animal orphanage. The tour ends at Bomas of Kenya, located near the park entrance, where you can see a group of reenacted tribal villages where beautiful, traditional dances are performed…
